Parts of Soup: Artwork Description (not more than 300 words) reboiled

Parts of Soup: Artwork Description (not more than 300 words) reboiled, is a continued data visualisation exercise which translates text into visual elements through the lens and personal notions of soup. It follows the same methodology of an earlier work with the Critical Craft Collective of compiling the artwork descriptions from the show and translating them into imagery.

A self-embodiment of the artist’s ideas of soup: a continued rehash of an existing idea/artwork/soup, and adding new ideas/ingredients/heat to extend the stay of an artwork. The work visualises parts of speech from artwork descriptions and personal prose, and presents text along with their syntactic function using linguistic notations as visual elements against the backdrop of simulated soup. The habits and idiosyncrasies of the artist’s language as fundamental ingredients/building blocks coagulating into a metaphorical soup.
